UPDATES

HOURS:
Beginning 8/7/23, we will be open
Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday
1pm to 4pm (based on volunteer availability).

Visits outside of these times can be arranged by texting/voicemail 252.564.2592

PROGRAMS:
Beginning 8/7, we will offer only Turtle Patrol ($10 p/p) on Tu-W-Th at 12pm. Payment can be made at time of program.

Our Goals

  • Partner with local organizations and schools, and provide students and volunteers opportunities to collaborate with them in citizen science projects and community outreach events.

 

  • Provide interdisciplinary research and educational opportunities to college and high school students through experiential learning and service projects.

 

  • Provide students and volunteers opportunities to lead educational programs that demonstrate the importance of wildlife conservation and public history.
