Our Goals

Engage with the local community and provide students and volunteers
opportunities to collaborate with organizations and schools in
citizen science projects and community outreach events.
Provide research and educational opportunities to Hampden-Sydney College (H-SC) students through experiential learning and service projects that enhance the Ocean Center’s programs.
Provide H-SC students and volunteers opportunities to lead educational nature programs that demonstrate the importance of wildlife conservation.
